10mm polycarbonate sheets are a very resistant glazing material, which has been co-extruded with a UV inhibiting layer for longer life, as well as well as preventing loss of strength and yellowing. 10mm polycarbonate roofing panels are commonly used in applications where insulation isn’t necessary like canopies, greenhouses, cycle shelters and other open structures. 25mm or 35mm multiwall polycarbonate is much better where insulation is important for example in conservatories. 10mm polycarbonate sheets are fluted along the length and are generally twin wall. These polycarbonate sheets are extremely durable and can withstand impact by up to 200x more than glass.
